Bien que l&#039;acier d&#039;armature soit con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 des contraintes \u00e9lev\u00e9es et aux intemp\u00e9ries, il se d\u00e9t\u00e9riore progressivement lorsque sa protection naturelle est compromise. Comprendre les m\u00e9canismes de corrosion est essentiel pour \u00e9laborer des strat\u00e9gies efficaces de pr\u00e9vention et de r\u00e9paration.<\/p>\n  <p>En milieu alcalin, l&#039;acier reste passif et stable. Cependant, lorsque cet \u00e9quilibre chimique est perturb\u00e9 par des facteurs environnementaux tels que les chlorures, le dioxyde de carbone ou l&#039;humidit\u00e9, la corrosion s&#039;amorce et se propage, souvent de mani\u00e8re imperceptible jusqu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;apparition de fissures visibles ou d&#039;un affaiblissement structurel.<\/p>\n<\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-874db1f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"874db1f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4f753ab e-con-full e-flex elementor-invisible e-con e-child\" data-id=\"4f753ab\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;,&quot;animation&quot;:&quot;fadeInLeft&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-02737b6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"02737b6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"what-happens-and-why\">\n  <h2>Que se passe-t-il et pourquoi ?<\/h2>\n  <p>Les barres d&#039;armature sont expos\u00e9es \u00e0 des conditions environnementales difficiles qui peuvent entra\u00eener leur corrosion au fil du temps. Dans des conditions normales, la surface de l&#039;acier d&#039;armature est prot\u00e9g\u00e9e par une couche d&#039;oxyde passive qui se forme en milieu alcalin. Ce film isole l&#039;acier de l&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne et de l&#039;humidit\u00e9, emp\u00eachant ainsi la corrosion.<\/p>\n  <p>Cependant, plusieurs facteurs environnementaux d\u00e9truisent progressivement cette protection\u00a0:<\/p>\n  <p><strong>1. Attaque par les chlorures.<\/strong> Les chlorures provenant des embruns marins, des sels de d\u00e9givrage ou de l&#039;eau contamin\u00e9e p\u00e9n\u00e8trent et rompent le film passif, amor\u00e7ant une corrosion localis\u00e9e (par piq\u00fbres). <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.rsc.org\/en\/content\/articlehtml\/2024\/ra\/d4ra05506c\" target=\"_blank\">\u00c9ditions RSC, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n  <p><strong>2. Carbonatation.<\/strong> Le CO\u2082 diffuse vers l&#039;int\u00e9rieur et r\u00e9agit avec l&#039;hydroxyde de calcium, abaissant le pH du mat\u00e9riau environnant. Lorsque l&#039;alcalinit\u00e9 descend en dessous du seuil critique, le film passif se dissout et l&#039;acier devient actif. Ce processus progresse g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de la surface ext\u00e9rieure vers les armatures, formant un front de carbonatation.<\/p>\n  <p><strong>3. Les dommages se d\u00e9veloppent de l&#039;int\u00e9rieur et restent souvent imperceptibles jusqu&#039;\u00e0 l&#039;apparition de fissures ou de taches de rouille visibles.<\/p>\n  <p><strong>Perte de lien.<\/strong> Les produits de corrosion en expansion repoussent le mat\u00e9riau environnant vers l&#039;ext\u00e9rieur, rompant le verrouillage m\u00e9canique entre l&#039;acier et la matrice, ce qui r\u00e9duit la capacit\u00e9 de charge.<\/p>\n  <p><strong>Dommages cach\u00e9s.<\/strong> La corrosion progresse silencieusement pendant des ann\u00e9es. Lorsque la d\u00e9coloration de la surface appara\u00eet, une grande partie de la section transversale de l&#039;acier peut d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00eatre perdue. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.structuralrn.com\/common-issues\/corrosion-concrete-weakness\/rebar-corrosion-and-rusting-steel\" target=\"_blank\">R\u00e9seau de r\u00e9paration structurelle<\/a><\/p>\n  <p><strong>D\u00e9gradation induite par la carbonatation.<\/strong> Lorsque le front de carbonatation atteint l&#039;acier, il neutralise l&#039;alcalinit\u00e9 protectrice autour des armatures. La rouille peut alors se propager sous la surface, provoquant des fissures internes avant m\u00eame l&#039;apparition de tout signe visible. Ce processus s&#039;auto-entretient et d\u00e9pend de plusieurs facteurs interd\u00e9pendants qui acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent les dommages au fil du temps.<\/p>\n  <p><strong>Protection variable.<\/strong> L&#039;\u00e9paisseur, la densit\u00e9 et la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 du rev\u00eatement diff\u00e8rent selon les sections, permettant une p\u00e9n\u00e9tration plus rapide de l&#039;humidit\u00e9 et des ions agressifs. <a href=\"https:\/\/bayoucitysteel.com\/common-mistakes-in-rebar-replacement\/\" target=\"_blank\">Acier de Bayou City<\/a><\/p>\n  <p><strong>Cycle d&#039;auto-propagation.<\/strong> En se d\u00e9veloppant, la rouille cr\u00e9e des microfissures qui augmentent la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9. Cela permet \u00e0 encore plus d&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne et d&#039;eau d&#039;atteindre les barres d&#039;armature, alimentant ainsi un cycle de d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration continue.<\/p>\n  <p><strong>Limites des rev\u00eatements conventionnels.<\/strong> Les barres d&#039;armature \u00e9poxy ou galvanis\u00e9es n\u00e9cessitent une int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de rev\u00eatement parfaite. (AMT), Coquitlam, Colombie-Britannique, Canada<\/em> Des essais de traction (arrachement) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme ASTM E488 sur des barres d&#039;armature de 12 mm. L&#039;objectif \u00e9tait d&#039;\u00e9valuer l&#039;effet de <strong>AnarPrime 3-en-1 Convertisseur de rouille, appr\u00eat et scellant<\/strong> sur la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;arrachement des barres d&#039;armature.<\/p>\n    <p>Trois s\u00e9ries de tests ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es, chacune avec une profondeur d&#039;enrobage diff\u00e9rente (6\u2033, 10\u2033 et 15\u2033). Chaque s\u00e9rie comprenait un \u00e9chantillon rev\u00eatu et un \u00e9chantillon non rev\u00eatu.<\/p>\n    <p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats :<\/strong> Le rev\u00eatement n&#039;a pas eu d&#039;incidence significative sur la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&#039;arrachement.<\/p>\n    <ul>\n      <li>15\u2033 \u2013 Rev\u00eatement : 61\u00a0560 kN (Rupture des barres d\u2019armature)<\/li>\n      <li>15\u2033 \u2013 Non rev\u00eatu : 62\u00a0210 kN (Rupture des barres d\u2019armature)<\/li>\n      <li>10\u2033 \u2013 Rev\u00eatement : 61\u00a0750 kN (Rupture des barres d\u2019armature)<\/li>\n      <li>10\u2033 \u2013 Non rev\u00eatu : 60\u00a0930 kN (Rupture des barres d\u2019armature)<\/li>\n      <li>6\u2033 \u2013 Rev\u00eatement : 42\u00a0590 kN (rupture du b\u00e9ton)<\/li>\n      <li>6\u2033 \u2013 Non rev\u00eatu\u00a0: 44\u00a0760 kN (rupture du b\u00e9ton)<\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n    <p><strong>Interpr\u00e9tation:<\/strong> Pour des profondeurs d&#039;encastrement plus importantes (25 \u00e0 38 cm), les barres d&#039;armature, qu&#039;elles soient rev\u00eatues ou non, ont rompu par plastification de l&#039;acier, confirmant que le rev\u00eatement n&#039;affectait pas l&#039;adh\u00e9rence.
